The last time I started,I listened up to chapter 3,I think. Anyway, I have been looking for a way to download all the episodes at once, good for those times when I don't have internet access and nothing to do. I tryed subscribeing to the rss feed and downloading all episodes that way,but the speed at which it was downloading was awful.
I even searched a few torrent sites, but found nothing promiceing there as well. With all the time that I have spend on looking for a way to download them all at once or one after the other,I may as well have downloaded those the old way, which was to download each episode one at a time, but since there are 35 chapters, each divided into 3,it'd be a pain clicking at those links one after the other after the download was done.
Any ideas? I'm afraid I've not heard of anything that can download from an rss. Personally, I just went onto the "listen to episodes" page where they're all listed and downloded them the old fashioned way, one at a time I still haven't heard them yet, but they're waiting. With my new fiberoptic connection they came down pretty quickly, and I've never personally minded downloading a lot of files one at a time since generally I can do something else while I'm doing it, indeed often with ongoing podcast series or podio books while there is a lot of episodes to download I hear the first episode while continuing to put batches of others on for download.
When I first downloaded leviathan in fact I remember I was watching doctor who at the time and just banged on as many episodes for download as my connection would take and waited.
Also, bare in mind that there are a lot! Dark's Website. I use Juice on occasion, and from what I heard you can download them that way. Note that you may need to get a high-capacity card for this though.
Green Gables Fan's Website. Downloading them one at a time sounds like the thing to do. I was just wondering, just in case. Yes, Definitely. What a fantastic way to narrate a book with a full cast rather than single reader ,Brilliant, really brought the book alive especially with music and sound effects thrown in.
Great story, easy to listen to. I have plus audio books now and love them all but this 3 book series so far is easily in my top ten favourites. What other book might you compare We're Alive to, and why? I guess it is a typical Zombie apocalypse style book of which I have several but I think for me its quite like the Walking Dead TV series of which Im quite a fan. How does this one compare?
Yes I have several but for me this is a good book that really comes alive with this style of narrating. Im sure I would have still enjoyed this book if read by a single narrator but Im really pleased it isn't. Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Not really but I did find myself laughing out loud on occasion, Not something I think Ive done with other books. Loved it, Will listen to it many times Im sure. More books of all styles read this way please.
Their so called leader is an idiot who fills his day making silly and poor decisions. You find yourself getting sick of the constant complaining of all the characters. I love a good zombie book but this jumps straight in with no pretext and doesn't make sense.
I finished it but wouldn't recommend. Best audiobook i have listen to in a long time , good voice actors a hole cast. And the best of it all are the sound effects , from rain to birds to windshield whipers. I love it. Story was good, production was very good. I struggled a little at the start but got used to the style of story pretty quickly. Would recommend for sure. Holes in the story everywhere. Love zombie stories but not this one. Though I accept that it's hard to tell a story through dialog only.

Dick Length: 51 hrs and 3 mins Original Recording Overall. Publisher's Summary This exciting audio drama is based on an immensely popular podcast that has received hundreds of positive reviews and has had over four million downloads - and counting. Little food. Little water. Little hope.
Who is lucky enough to say "We're Alive"? Science Fiction. Maintaining a style that is both retro and contemporary, the radio drama will give horror fans the campy, kitschy style they like, but it also provides a variety of characters and development to keep general audiences engaged…Despite not being able to see the action, the excitement and intensity is still sustained through score and sound design.
In some ways, the lack of visuals to accompany the audio creates more suspense. The narrator controls how much the audience knows, slowly teasing out information. Accompanying the drama are sparse moments of comedic relief…Expressing a keen awareness of the zombie subgenre, many of the jokes come from familiar scenarios and tropes of zombie stories.
